Teriparatide Acetate

Teriparatide may sometimes be used to detect a subtle abnormality of calcium metabolism in patients who have borderline or intermittent mild hypocalcemia and borderline or intermittent elevations of iPTH, but have signs and symptoms of pseudohypoparathyroidism, such as hyperphosphatemia, premature cataracts, skeletal anomalies, or a family history of pseudohypoparathyroidism.
